Warranty Policy

To request a service claim under these warranties, contact EME by telephone, fax, email or post. To initiate a claim, you will need to provide proof of purchase. If the product is still under warranty, EME will arrange for repair or replacement. After the first year of the warranty period, the purchaser is responsible for the labour and transport costs associated with returns and repairs.

  1. The “Warranty Policy” of the company covers products for manufacturing defects only.
  2. The policy does not cover defects that arise due to improper handling and usage of products.
  3. If a product requires service during the Warranty Period due to defective materials or workmanship, the company at its discretion will either repair or replace the product. This assumes that the product has been maintained and used properly for the purpose for which it was designed for.
  4. The warranty does not cover degradation that occurs due to normal usage like scratches on desks, wrinkles on upholstery etc.
  5. The customer is expected to inspect the goods within a period of 30 days from the delivery date for any external workmanship defects and inform the company accordingly. Any communication received beyond the period for such defects will not be entertained. However, it should be noted that if the customer transports the material from storage area to actual site and then reports the defect, the company will not entertain such complaints.
